Manny Cepeda started his band with a simple trio called "Ritmo Caribe!". This trio, comprised of two Puerto Ricans and one Panamanian, became the "core" of what would evolve into the Manny Cepeda Orchestra. Over the next five years, we earned the trust and credibility of San Diego and North County, establishing ourselves as the Number One Salsa Band in San Diego. Today, we continue to be recognized as the banda estrella de San Diego, especially during events like Salsa Under the Stars San Diego.
Our second most popular performing group, the Manny Cepeda Orchestra, is the favorite for our Salsa Under the Stars San Diego Series in downtown San Diego.
